A brand new start

I have fallen so many times during my path to get healthier. Tumblr will be my diary and my progress tracker.

For me it is easy to make a life changing decision. But when you try to change everything at once, I have learnt that it gets to overwhelming and if you lack willpower you will not win. You will fall and to fall too many times might just lead you in the wrong direction.

I have chosen to start of easier. Build my self to a healthier lifestyle. For me the food is probably my biggest problem. I love to eat, I love chips and I love snacking and chocolate. That is why I wanna take one meal at a day and change it. I have started with my breakfast. For a week I have been eating oatmeal and one fruit (banana or kiwi mostly) and starting my journey to have control lover the things I put in my mouth. In the begging I had two teaspoons of suffer on my oatmeal, now I use coconut instead. Just to make it looks tasty and let my mind know that it’s better then sugar. Small steps. Now when I have control over my breakfast I can start changing my lunch habits.

Small steps are easier then big ones, but they also last longer. At least for me. Take those steps that helps you!

What have you done GREAT today?

It is often hard to say things that you are good at. Specially for people that had low self asteam. A great way to start your journey in understanding that you are good just the way you are is to start out a bit easier! But it can still be really challenging at the begining!

During your days when you get a moment over reflect on what you have done great today? What is the best thing you have done this far during the day?

In the beginning it can be really hard figuring out what is “good enough”. The truth is everything you have done today is good! So pick one that mage you feel just a bit extra happy and proud to begin with. If you ask yourself this question everyday you will soon find it easier to come up with GREAT things you do!

Anxiety

I am a girl that everyday say to myself that I am not good enough, that I can always improve. In short version: I dont appriciate myself..!

I am a girl that for many years have had anxiety. Panic attacks became an everyday thing for me.

I am a girl with too high goals. Or the wrong kind of goals actually. I am that girl that puts to much pressure on herself to become “perfect”.

I know that many of you have been or perhaps are in the same situation as me. I have starting to learn today how i can think differently. How I can love myself again and how I can deal with My anxiety. I am proud to say that I have started Going to a psycologist. Today i learned: goals that has a “dont” in them nerver works. Example: i dont want to have fat thighs. Change that to: i want to have things that are lean.

My journey starts NOW! And I want yours to start as well! We can do this together. I will post tips and helps so that we can, together, help each other!

how do you get yourself to start working out!?

A

I do a map with different goals. Example how I want to look, how I want to feel and motivation tips on why I want to work out. I have all of this inside of my wardrobe so I can check it when my motivation is low! This helps me to stay focused! The key is to have long term and short term goals. Simple goals that you know you can reach are the best! Because when you reach your goals that gives you an push forward to continue! JUST DO IT! Good luck! Get back to me if you want more tips!
